The Sutliff Bridge is gone but the Tavern is up and running. I will stop Sat after the J&P Open House. Just wont be able to sit out on the bridge. Check out the link (Ode to the Sutliff Bridge) in the links of interest.

Hey Dan. It was great to see you and glad you came out to get some more awesome photos! The Bridge Authority has quite a bit of work to do over the next year, but you can bet we'll do everything we can, if allowed, to restore the collapsed span, as well as keep the two remaining spans. Hey I know this place! I live in Des Moines and my cousin took me to this little place on a Sunday. Do they still have the Sunday afternoon jam on the porch? I've got to assume the floods took the old bridge out? Shame, cool place to go and relax. My blog has a photo of a Sunday jam I was at one day. It's in the Party Time album.
