I just wanted to drop a line to say thank you. You are entirely truthful in your blog about bikers being trustworthy. I was unfortnately in the class of people who sterotyped bikers. Since being exposed to them through my wonderful husband, I have come to be blessed with meeting kind, warmhearted, supportive, all around awesome people, like you. This being my first ever bike rally at Conesville this year, was quite a shocker at first. I think what amazed me the most was the utter acceptance of EVERYONE. That includes the heavier ladies. I say this because before my gastric by-pass I weighed 280lbs. So I know first hand how harsh the world can be. This is not the fact at the rally. It didn't matter if you had a deformity, overweight, too tall, too short or God had not blessed you in the department of beauty, you were treated the same! That is what I found amazing! I loved it! I will definately be a rally junkie from now on! Again, thank you for being in my cheering section durring the weenie bite contest! Even though I didn't win first place, I sure walked away feeling like I did! We look forward to seeing you at future rallys! Tina Grover Urbandale, Ia.
Great page and great pictures. Looks like my kind of folks. I got here via the Circle of Pride site where Chopper Kate had sent me to explain what "Thunder in the Sand" was al about. I've added you to my "destinations" on my biker blog, Hard Ride. I invite you to stop by and also check out my Biker Poetry at Songs of the Open Road Keep On Keepin' On
